The pointy topped dashboard makes a dash mounted mirror awkward, often thought the YKC curved dash would handle a dash top mirror better.

Wee Beastie had a solid windscreen surround.
My problem is that turning left the rear view mirror is in my line of sight and I can't see where I am going, It's stuck to the windscreen and so far has resisted my efforts at removal. I really don't want to damage the windscreen trying to remove it.

In Wee Beastie I used a suction cup one, yes It fell off occasionally, but I never found a satisfactory position for it.

    Triggered from another thread!

It occurs to me that we have seen the odd Roadster chassis appear on eBay and here.

if they don’t sell and get weighed in for scrap, an hour or so with an angle grinder would provide a good answer for a particular chassis number range.

Isn't there a YKC chassis available now, or has it been scrapped?

Thanks guys, I used JB Weld to attach. Think I could dock the Queen Mary off of it now .

Why not just use a mirror with the double sided mounting pad onto the glass.

Thanks for the replies. I had always believed that the frame doubled as a roll bar and would be solid. I think I'll place it safe and use a 2 pack epoxy adhesive for the mirror. It's not heavy anyway.
