Guess how far on I am with mine, yep no further on,
Been stuck on the DIY and now got to somehow source a new key barrel for the ignition on my van, it picked a good time to lock up and now VW garages all on lock down.
    Keep safe everyone

This is the much later hood frame design, it folds flat.

Details/dimensions for this (and other ideas) are in Tech Tips

The frame slots into the brackets so when the hood and frame are not in use it is flat.
My seats are Westfield seats and I got my inspiration from Hugh, they fit really well and have good support, also I think a bargain at £100.

Looks like I have the same seats as yours. Thanks for the pic looks like I need to make the brackets that it fits onto.

I have to say the SWB look better with the hood on, my LWB always looked ungainly.

I was going to take it off and store it, you know me come wind or rain.

Good test if it does though.

Now with the lift the dots on the Doors.

4 poppers and a little tightening and hey presto.

As you may know I don't use a hood usually but as the kit came with one I thought I would have a go at fitting it.

    Obviously bored.

Will need a little fettling but not to shabby, will use the tabs on the side to pull down and get rid of the crease.
