  • June and start of July

After the MOT of my Marlin and two new Spax shockers at the rear replaced I did the Service on the old girl.

Oil, oil filter, plugs and a general check round and she's good to go.

    WHERE?

Round trip to Malver, National Kit Car Show - 180 miles
Round trip to North Cornwall Daymer Bay - 484 miles
Round trip to Le Mans Classic via Chelmsford, Dover and Calais - 1390 miles

That's 2054 miles by the time I get back from Le Mans on 4th July.

    Phew!!!!

Plus she's my daily driver at presant.

All as it should be. My Roadster should be back on the road as the daily driver and Dog cart. Have fun!

Well that's the Malvern and Cornwall trip done. In actual fact I did 600 miles for the Cornwall leg. Forgot to add the trip to see my brother and back.

Off to Bicester heritage for the Flywheel Event on Sunday, another 50 miles.

Now planning the Le Mans classic trip in two weeks time.

God I love driving my Roadster.

Got back from Le Mans yesterday evening and without any problems.

Will continue to use the old girl in preference to the Euro Box.

Lots more things to do this year which will add a further 2000 miles at least.

Hi Adrian, Well done for using the car as a daily, I did with mine for 3-4 years when we were both younger ! However one question .. do you use hearing protection.. ? I’m sure I’ve occasionally noticed tinnitus after a drive and so have taken to using earplugs ? Take care

Hi, I get a bit after a long drive on motorways but nothing using back roads.

Generally I use back roads anyway, much more fun.
