Does anybody know what size spare wheel fits under the wheel cover?
I sorted out the best of my old BMW donor steel wheels and painted it, only to find today that it doesn't fit under the cover.
It is a standard BMW steel 14" rim with a 195/65R14 tyre fitted. It is too deep for the cover becuse it hits the flat surface of the cover as it is a smaller diameter than the curves in the cover.
Maybe a 15" or 16" rim and tyre might fit better? Or maybe I need to get one of those silly spacesaver spare wheels, which may not be such a bad idea as it would be less weight?
Anybody know whether BMW fitted 15" or 16" steel wheeels to the e30 hubs?
Can anyone help?
