Post script, if you have read my article in this month's Pitstop (without falling asleep!)
My Hunter has just passed the MOT with flying colours. When I asked what the emissions were the man said "under 1.0% Co"! When pressed further he said the reading was about 0.6%! Not bad for 3.5% CO max on that engine / year! Looks like all the soot, oil and junk that had built up in the cylinders in its previous non-Lambda life have now burned off so hopefully "relatively" economical motoring from now on :-) Peter.
