I have just fitted a set of NGK Iridium spark plugs to my Berlinetta and noticed instantly:
smoother idling
smoother acceleration
better burning
These were fitted to a Mitsubishi 2.6 litre 4cyl engine which has covered 170,000 kms. I know they are a lot more expensive but the good thing is you don't have to change them v often. May be every 100,000 kms.
I have also used them on my Lotus to good effect in that on that car they don't burn so sooty (are we allowed to use that word anymore?!)
