Over the last 20 odd years of running my Berlinetta it's been anoying to have to open one side of the bonnet to check the oil and then the other side to fill it, which is also difficult with the centre hinged bonnet. So this winter I set about modifing the Pinto rocker cover, the plan was to move the filler head to the rear left hand side (see sketch 1)
I cut out the existing filler, cut a hole in the new position and removed unwanted brackets.
I gave the parts to a local fabricator who had said he could complete the job and have it powder coated.

If it hadn't looked so good, I would of thrown it across the work shop!
Moral of this story; ensure you give clear precise instructions.
