    Twin SU's for 'A' series engine

    ok, I have got my hands on a set of recon twin SU's that cam of a midget. 1. will they fit? 2. Do they need adapting? 3. Will they give any better performance?

    Loads of questions and I hope aomeone can help.Thanks in advance.

      1. Yes if you have 1300 engine,but you will need inlet manifold and if you're still running the combined inlet/exhaust manifold from the marina it will need modifying
      2.You may gain a little more power top end at the expense of losing bottom end torque but frankly it's not worth the effort in my opinion, and this is only if the whole thing is set up correctly.The 'log' type of manifold that midgets came with are probably the most INEFFICIENT that Leyland used! Stick with a GOOD properly set up single on a MG Metro inlet.
