A frame on a roadster

Braking must have been very interesting to say the least! I have towed 24 ton tipper trucks in the past but the A frame didn't steer them, a driver was still required!

is long or short wheelbase. ?

The length of the doors measured at the top is around 700mm for a short Wheelbase Roadster.

A long Wheelbase would be around another 150mm making around 850mm.


On some long Wheelbase Roadsters, my first Roadster included, had a fillet between the front and rear wings.

Later long Wheelbase Roadster had a one piece front wing.

the braking problem is easy to overcome you just run a cable from the braked hitch, you can put a 7 pin towing socket on the front of the roadster and all the lights will power up from the tow vehicle this makes it a braked 4 wheel trailer. I did all of this to tow my Jimny with by camper van, but for some unknown the steering on the Jimny kept putting itself on full lock but only on left hand 90 deg turns I gave up in the end. I think my problem was the Jimny uses a steering box and has large off road tyres.
