Gt6 overdrive gearbox

Does anyone know if a GT6 overdrive gearbox will fit onto a 1360 bell housing , I have been offered the gearbox by a friend, since owning my herald based roadster

I think it's the same gearbox, but probably ratios are different. Maybe first is higher for the l6 engine, but shouldn't matter all that much with lighter vehicle to push. I suggest you go and have a search around Rimmer Bros website, they have a lot of diagrams and information to compare. You will probably have to change speedo gears to get right MPH displayed....
Just needs a bit of research to double check.

And I guess you will probably need to shorten the propshaft as the overdrive box is longer.
