Single SU Carb Choice?

Ok, so I have been convinced to go with Single SU Carb with Metro Manifold.

Question do I go for HIF.6 or HIF44??

You can use the Mg metro manifold with it's HIF44.e-bay is often a good source.As stated previously you will need to remove the existing inlet manifold from the exhaust butbe careful that you don't break/cut into the exhaust manifold.Better to cut closer to inlet side and grind a little away at a time untill you have enough clearance for metro manifold. Small amount of plumbing required as mg manifold is water heated-very simple

Hi Adrian,

sound advice from Alan, you could also go for the mg metro exhaust manifold which gives you a pretty good LCB. I am pulling nearly 90 bhp with a HIF6, metro manifolds, stage 3 head and 1.5 rockers offering a really great road and trials engine. cheers Chris
