I am having trouble identifying the origin of the Pinto engine is in my Berlinetta. There is a seven digit code starting CY on the engine block and according to a chart on Burton's site this means it was made in February 1982. However it is a 2L injection engine and according to the Wiki Pinto page this variant didn't appear until 1985 for the Sierra/Granada. Any ideas?
