Hi folks. My Berlinetta has simple twist catches each side of the top of the boot lid, with a removable key (Very easily lost!). Is this the normal fitting? I have seen pictures of Marlins with chromed boot latches and was wondering wher these can be purchased and it they are a straight swap. Any advice much appreciated, Alan.

A lan, see attached photo
I used T type handles (mini) I bought these together with the door handles with matching keys so I only had one for all locks.
The supplier I used is probably out of business now as it was in 1990. There are many similar available on line.
You'll find the square shaft matches the Marlin catches, it needs to be shortened to suit and a retention screw and washer fitted to the end.
The base plate is screwed to the boot lid, I used rivnuts to achieve as opposed to loose nuts on the inside.
I'm sure this is similar to the solution used by other builders.
