Cabrio / Hunter rear shock absorbers

I'd like to change the rear shock absorbers on my Hunter for quality gas adjustable ones. Any suggestions on make, part number and settings gratefully received!

Personally I always thought it was fine on the bog standard Sierra shocks Bill, but your choice. Gaz will probably be able to supply adjustables.

Check the bottom bolt diameter before ordering. IIRC they are either 10mm standard or 12mm on the XR4i / Cosworth rear arms. I fitted GAZ shocks all round some years ago and they have been fine. Set them to minimum and then increase one click at a time until the rear of the car just doesn’t “bounce” when pushed down and released. Note that the adjusters only provide adjustment, they are not a calibration!
