First question I ask whenever a car catches my eye
Why are you selling it? - it looks fantastic!

I’ve owned the Marlin for close to 10 years now, bought from Danny all those years ago. I originally ran it alongside a TVR Chimaera that I had already owned for many years. The TVR was used for trips into Europe.

For numerous reasons I decided that having the two cars was excessive and sold the TVR in February 2018. I also decided that that was a bad decision as I then watched it going down the road but hey ho life goes on.

I have been considering trying to source a BMW based Cabrio LWB for some time, if one ever becomes available that is as they seem quite rare, and it seemed an opportune time to move my existing car on. If a BMW Cabrio doesn’t materialise for some time then I believe I may scratch the TVR itch again (who knows) and I may also try a different TVR model such as a Griffith (lovely looking car).

In the meantime I have some work I’d like to do on the garage/man-cave which will be far easier achieved without a car in there.

Will I suffer sellers regret again? Oh undoubtedly, however there’s cars out there I wish to try, and I can’t keep them all.

              Hi,

I have peviously reviewed your recent advert both here & one Car&classic (one of my fav sites); a lovely looking car, and as you also built it a credit to you too.

However, the Sportster model is not really one for me. For me the attractions of the LWB Cabrio/Hunter models are the really good weather equipment (hood & electric side windows), the security of a lockable boot and also really just the overall look of the car which I really like.

Regardless, I appreciate your post, all the best in getting a sale.
