Has anyone fitted an MG Midget fuel tank to there Mk2 marina based Roadster?

If so any pictures would be good.

I considerd it but in the end dismissed the idea as nobody else seemed to have done it, or at least was willing to own up.
In the end I had a tank made - not as expensive as you might think and guaranteed to fit as long as you can use a tape measure :-)

I’ve fitted one, but to a Triumph based roadster.. it fitted perfectly and there would be less space in the Triumph version ..I got it new from an mg specialist. It replaced the original imp tank.

        Hi Adrian.
Have you considered a long range Morris minor tank from the MM specialists. This is actually an escort van tank that is modified for MM fitment. Be warned....the fuel neck is in a very different orientation and will most likely NOT work for most Marlin owners. Could be an option though. Just putting it out there.
There are 2 versions available with different designs. The MM specialists also sell Midget tanks as an option so in theory, they should fit too.
