    Squire replica

OK so it is a for sale notification, but perhaps of more general interest.

Rodney Rushton passed away some three years ago. He was connected with Marlin Sportscars
and I believe built the BMW Sportster prototype that was sold a while back.

This car is on a Cabrio chassis, Ash frame body under aluminium.

His daughter is now trying to sell on what was his project, contact me if you have a serious interest
and I can give you a mobile number to call.

A bit of Googling and a certain Rodney Rushton was director of Squire Car Company and a gent by the same name was involved in the Sebring Healey replica - any chance they are one and the same?

Hi Alan Rodney was also involved in ocean going yachts being built in Poole at one time. I knew the gentleman and met with him several times (back in the day ) Danny

Thanks for the inputs, it's definitely a less well known part of Marlin history.

I hope to have more on this in the future.
