Best Reasonable Offer around £500 Car located in Basingstoke.
I’ve put a nominal price on it of £500 but will accept offers as any money received will go to Myeloma UK.
Also I now need to clear the garage.
It is an unfinished Mk2 Roadster purchased from YKC just as they took over the marque.
I would prefer the car to go to a club member who may be willing to break it for spares or even complete.
The car has been garaged its entire life and is in its first fitting stage of build and was driven in and out of the garage.
The kit parts are in good condition and would be useful to club members if the car is broken up.
The kit is complete and has all fibreglass parts, Aluminium panels including bonnet parts and hinge (not fitted), and a radiator supplied by YKC. Windscreen.
LWB chassis, sealed and powder coated.
Most donor parts were reconditioned but will require attention/refurb.
Many parts included or fitted including::
2 Richfield seats. (one with minor damage but not visible unless seat removed)
Escort Fuel Tank
5 x 14” alloy wheels with tyres (although not used I would suggest the tyres will need to be discarded)
It is currently fitted with a 1700 O series engine (It’s not been run for several years but was hand cranked yesterday).
The Austin 4 speed gearbox was professionally refurbished.
A Locost wiring loom is in the process of being installed, as is the thermostatic fan.
Lights are fitted front and rear (front indicators not fitted)
Various other items: door and bonnet seals, nuts, screws, washers and bolts…etc…
