  • Royal Amouries Classic Car Show, Leeds.

A great day out at the Royal Amouries Classic Car Show with an excellent turn out.

The Marlin shown here sporting its new grille badge courtesy of Rob and Sheelagh from Harrogate, many thanks.

The prize winning MGB 64 has a 1964 1800 shell modified to accept a 2.4 Jaguar engine / overdrive gearbox with the addition of an impressively grafted E-type bonnet bulge!

Glad to see that you have been out and about. I went to a local car show at Carsington Water, where there was a great turnout including two more club members. Unfortunately we suffered some showers.
    Has anyone else been out?

Went to a LVC show at (a wet) Moss Bank Park in Bolton.
Many interesting vehicles, not least was a 9 litre drag-strip car with a 8" diameter exhaust and a turbo the size of a football sourced from a railway train, all masquerading as a Ford 100E Popular!
An ice-cooled intercooler normally sat at the passenger side but the owner had removed it in order to take his granddaughter (and dress) to her prom.
Cabrio MOT this afternoon, fingers crossed!
