A cracking article in the latest Pitstop 248. As a member of the Marlin club and NWKCOG I must point out 'Jalopy' is not a Jago, it is a Rickman Ranger. I hope I am not treading on any toes, but since our Chairman mentioned the Ashbourne Classic Enthusiasts Club, may I give another mention to the NWKCOG, which, as Steve Pritchard mentioned, is not just for the North West. Check it out. It is very active with frequent runs out and a monthly pub meal evening.

I, too enjoyed the issue 248 article featuring Biggles and I concur with the good sense of joining in with a local regional club. The major shows attract a good turn-out of clubs and supporters, but in any given local area (I suggest a 35 mile radius of home defines local) it is unlikely that sufficient numbers of cars exist to support a single marque club...and even 35 miles is a considerable distance to travel for some. My local all marque club meets on the first Sunday of the month for breakfast meet at 10am. There are a couple of we Marlineers, a few sevenesque drivers and several former kit people who still enjoy the chat.
