    Boot Floor

Here's a question for anyone that built a Roadster and can remember what they did with the boot floor!
I would like to fit a plywood or similar boot floor but it's a very irregular shape and I am struggling with getting a good fit. Or any sort of fit for that matter. Any suggestions anyone?

    Cheers, Robin

The original floor came as three marine ply sections (left, middle, right) and they had to be cut to fit around your chosen petrol tank. I remember using cardboard templates but there are some clever contouring tools available these days. By fitting the middle section last the left and right boards can be made to fit tightly into the corners. My tank was taken from a spitfire and sits at the very back of the boot area allowing room for a sunken tool / spares box but this might not be achievable on the live axle versions. Unfortunately the site won't let me attach a photo.
