Improving airflow

Hi

Has anybody had any bonnet modifications done to either accommodate air scoops or similar? I have a Pinto engined Roadster with a Piper cross foam air filter which presses up against the underside of the bonnet. I can't think this helps airflow into the carb but maybe it doesn't make any difference?

Any suggestions/comments welcome

depends how much it hits it, any amount will effect it slightly. putting a small scoop or louvered section will make it better, not only allow the carb to suck the air it needs but will help force feed it more when your moving.
