    Hi folks
I wish to change standard mechanical fuel pump for an electric one on 2ltr pinto, any tips what to go for?
The carb(Webber32/26dgav)has a return to tank can I do away with this so as the pump will not run continuously?
    Any help greatly appreciated!
    Regards

    Re: pinto roadster mods

I have been looking on a Robin Hood site and the advise given was that the std mechanical pump produces 3 - 5psi and any more than 6psi will damage the float and force it open. As the electric pump gives about 40 plus psi and will cause damage !!.

      Hi Bob
      Thanks for the reply
I have bought a Facet electric pump with 4psi rating from a reliable source so that should fit the bill o/k.
Not a whole lot happening on the build scince we last spoke as still fixing the house!!!
Off to France next week and will get back to it when I get home!
      Cheers
