Ok so now I need a new radiator! Does anyone know where I can source an Austin 1800 rad or has anyone got an idea for where I can get one rebuilt cheaply? Bet quote so far is £150

    Thanks

          Hi

My Viva original was rebuilt with extra cores by Automotive Cooling Services in Northampton, I can't remember the cost but I think it was less than 150, might be worth a call. 01604 639005

Try Airport Radiators 020 8897 9491. They are on the Bath Road near Heathrow. They did an uprated Viva rad. as above for c £110 about 4 years ago. Very helpful.

After a lot of fiddling and fettling I have finally managed to keep the cooling water where it belongs. The radiator although it looks manky has proved to be watertight so for now I am ok thanks for all your help.
