Front Suspension

My roadster(marina based) has just failed its MOT on the inner upper frontsuspension joint.
The pin is moving in the front plate. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas how to fix it. My current plan is to shrink the hole with weld and drill or ream it to size. Are the swivel pins (mini) easily available?

Tony, Minisport in Padiham do the pin as a repair kit for about £12 per side.Could you not weld a plate over the existing area and redrill /ream
