When I bought my Marlin 8 years ago, the previous owner said he would let me have the name and address of the chap he bought it from who was the original builder of the car in the late 1980s. I never got this info and the guy I bought it from moved house not long after the deal.What he did tell me was that the original owner was the chairman of the MOC at that time. MOTs in the early days were done by Tony's Garage,Vicarage Rd Oldbury West Midlands. Can anybody tell me who the Chairman was at that time. I would like to get in touch if possible.

I'm sure that would have been Don Collins at that time but I don't remember him saying about a Roadster. He has certainly had more than one Marlin so it's quite possible it's his.
Don lives in Spain for most of the year now but I can send you his details. Remind me with an email if you don't get them by the weekend.
