I've no idea whether it would fit but the BMW 6 cylinder diesel would be my 1st choice (the 6 cylinder petrol fits ok so there's a chance that the diesel would too). It would make an interesting conversion as not only does it sound good being a 6 pot (& has very little diesel clatter being a modern common rail diesel) but has plenty of power & torque (286bhp & 580Nm with the latest version!).
