Hi all, Terry has asked me to post this on the website. I'm afraid I don't know if this affects Javelin Cabrios. Anyone know? I'll mail Terry back and ask.

Hi Guys

Recently I received orders for some Marlin seats so that a couple of Cabrio
owner could work towards completing their cars. This created a problem as it
brought home to us how difficult it has become to obtain Cabrio parts in
these small numbers, or even at all, due to the big gaps between ordering.
With some of these items we still have to order at least 5 just to get our
supplier to make them, let alone keep the price competitive.

As a result we have decided that, with so few of you now close to finishing
your Cabrio's (and for us to guarantee that we can supply the parts you
require from us), we now need for you to place an order for the remaining
parts.

Please don't panic too much because even if you placed your orders today, it
will still take about 3 months from start to finish to get some of these
items, (mainly the seats) leaving you time to still plan your finances etc.

I have attached the latest price list and if there is anything you need that
is not listed please do not hesitate to contact me for a price.

I will need your orders placed with me please by Monday 16th June '08 with a
10% deposit, so I can proceed.

I'm sorry but after this date we will only be able to supply a few repair
parts / odds and ends but we will still be here to support you and will
always do our best for you.

I received the same e-mail, and e-mailed the company the following:

Further to your e-mail, could please clarify this part of your e-mail below bold:

" I'm sorry but after this date we will only be able to supply a few repair parts / odds and ends but we will still be here to support you and will always do our best for you".

I received this in reply as follows:

"If we can source the parts we will be able to help you. If we have to also buy from our local dealer with little or no discount we will give you the parts number so you can find yourself. We were mainly talking about the major items still required by a few to finish their build.
Hope this helps to take away any worries my email may have caused"
