Speedo cable

Hi,
New to the forum, my roadster passed the mot today, Yay :-)
On way back from mot station, the speedo stopped working. Have just taken the cable off and was wondering where to get a replacement from.
Its a marina gearbox with a smiths speedo, basically a square pin each end on the cable.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction for a replacement as i would like to take her to Hoddesdon car show next weekend.

My local motor factor got me my last one and you see them on eBay quite a lot. As long as you remember which Marina/Ital the original came from !

Try SPEED0GRAGH - RICHFIELD for cables and gauges as they will make you any size and have different ends.
There is a cable for a Marina on ebay at the momment.

Before you fit the new cable make sure the speedo head isnt seized.

Burnt my speedo cable away on t the hot exhaust, it's very easy to leave it touching the manifold if you have been working on the car and haven't checked the routing. I got a spare from a local motor factor. A Sptifire one will fit.
