    Re: Hood to cover hood?

Russels Trimming in Rubery have looked at my tonneau today and the quote is £200. They want to take mine apart to get patterns! then stitch it up again, I am not sure about that. One thing that I did think about, my seats have no headrests and are quite low so this may be a consideration.

      Hi Danny
Your note said "Tonneau". Do you mean an all-over cover from front to back, or do you mean just a hood cover?
I am interested in the latter, to cover up the un-exciting folded-down hood. The pics that Sue put on the site look the business for me. However, I am not too keen if the bottom line is £200 !!!

I've fired a couple of notes in "Soft bits for sevens", but no response as yet. I'll let everyone know via this site if & when I get any response from them
      Cheers
      Mike

        Re: Hood to cover hood?

I am refering to a hood bag and tonneau all in one, but I am not happy to let mine be unstitched and then sewn again
I shall keep looking and see if I can find a trimmer who is prepared to copy without taking mine apart.
A seperate hood bag is approx £125. Tonneau approx £200-£300. So £200 for combined was very good.

Danny, any chance of some pictures of yours, as seeing it makes more sense. I am interested in a tonneau, cheers Keith.

            Danny,
£200 for a bag and tonneau is good value. I would be interested in one for Moll.
