Speedo cable snapped

The speedo cable on my 1.7 Ital based Roadster has snapped - about two inches from the speedo head. The cable sleeve looks ok so I'm in the hunt for a replacement inner. It's a standard connection at the gearbox but as the car has Smiths instruments it has a screw-on fixing rather than the Ital snap-on type. Anyone know where I could get a new/replacement cable inner?

You could try Speedograph -they may supply you with just the inner
