    Recommened Roadster tyre pressures ?

    Hi,
I've got a long wheelbase roadster running a 1.8 marina engine, can anyone tell me what tyre pressures are recommended for front and rear, tyre size is 185-70-13.

    Regards Andy

Hi Andy, Click search the forum and enter tyre pressure. This was discussed at length a while ago.
I have a staight six in the front of a hybrid SWB. I use 22f and 24+r I have found if you go too low the car bounces on the tyres. You may find that 185 is a bit over tyred.

Crikey Ben, 185. I'm only 63 and I seem to be permanently over tired

I run 205x60x13 at 22psi all round and find ok.

Andy, My LWB 1800 also has 185/70/13s and I run about 22psi most of the time. Certainly no more. I'm not sure what Ben means by over tyred but there's more than enough grip!

What I mean is and this was Paul Moorhouses advice 185 is about as wide as the Marlin needs as the weight on the front is a lot less than the original car. Unless your using a sticky soft tyre you may suffer from under steer.
