  • PINTO & K&N AIR FILTER

I am looking at changing my Air filter system for a K&N. Has anyone fitted a K&N to a Roadster with a 2lt Pinto fitted 38DGAS carb ? If so what was the part number of the K&n filter used and what is the length, width and height as there are many sizes given for the same part number as it depends on the suppliers info as limited to under hood clearance.

Re: PINTO & K&N AIR FILTER

Hi Bob. K&N have a really good website. I used it to find the right size of filter to fit my Marlin Hunter. Have a look at http://www.knfilters.com/search/universal.aspx

If you navigate back to the home page you can also look up your application if you know the vehicle that originally used your carb on a Pinto. Peter.

I finished up getting a new K&N 56-9071 filter from Burton power at a good price compared to other suppliers and s/hand on ebay.It looks good and tidy when you have limited under bonnet space.
