Nuts and Bolts

Hi everyone

Im looking for a cheap place to buy some nuts and bolts. I have so far used M6 pan head bolts with a flat head so can use a screwdriver for most of the bodywork. The last lot i got was 'borrowed' from work but now changed my job have not got a ready cheap supply.

Does anyone know where i can get some more at a price cheaper than a £0.75 each as will end up costing me a fortune for nuts and bolts.

I got a pack of mixed s/steel allen domed head metric screws and nuts of ebay from http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/boltmeup/ shop which cost approx 14p each.

Hi Tom,

screwfix.com stock a good selection of nuts and bolts in BZP and A2 Stainless. Bolts in packs of 50. Nuts in packs of 100. Pan head, Button head, Hex, Countersunk and Cap screws.
You can order on-line but there will be a delivery charge.
They also have trade counters you can use.
Same set up as buying at Argos.
The nearest to you are probably Harlow, and Welwyn Garden City.

Only use stainless steel or you will cuss when you have to take them apart later - on lightly loaded components only.
