  • Zetec Inside - finally finished!

Just got my Roadster back from its final rolling road tune-up, made 143BHP which isn't bad for a 1.8

It's been a year off the road, but I'm well chuffed with it and just in time some good weather - sorry can't resist showing it off!

It looks good, What gearbox have you fitted and is it using a viva radiator for cooling ?. I might be intrested in fitting a Zetec after the summer. Will it be at Stoneleigh kitcar show in May for a proper look ?.

Nice job Chris...that's pretty good for a 1.8...nice induction system, makes life a bit easier around the steering column than my T16..!
      Enjoy...here's hoping for a summer...

Standard Type 9 'box and it has a three core Viva rad - seems okay at the moment, will have to wait for really decent weather to see if it copes...

I can't make Stoneleigh unfortunately as I have to work every weekend in May :-(

I thought the black tops were 2.0 litres? I bought one of the YKC Zetecs from Don sold to me as a 1.8

1.8 & 2.0 - used in the Focus & Mondeo. I only went for the 1.8 as it was a brand new engine for a reasonable price.
