Hi Tim,
Further to your earlier reply, did you reinforce your doors for the Morgan Mirrors? If you did reinforce your suggestions would be very welcome.

Do you now think the doors should have had more reinforcement?

Hi Roger.
No I did not reinforce the doors and there has not been a problem after 5 years. They are 2 bolt fixings thro' the outer skin of the door. As I was fixing these to an already completed car with the glass in the doors the difficult bit was holding the nut within the door cavity to get the bolts started. I soldered a length of multicore solder to each nut which allowed me to lower the nut into the door cavity, held this with an o/e spanner whilst the thread started and then snapped off the length os solder
