    Nylon Washers

    Can anyone tell me where I can buy nylon washers - to go under bolt head to protect the paint?

    I have tried Demontweeks, Europa, Woolies and Frost.

                  My local Halfords "superstore" does small boxes of mixed washers, some copper and some nylon. They are hanging up with the electrical connectors etc. section. I have found however that they are rather white and quite thick, so are visible when bolted up. For a more simple fix get one of the transparent plastic ice cream containers and cut your own out with nail scissors. The plastic is only about .025" thick so provided the diameter is slightly less than the bolt head they are alsmost invisible. Works a treat on the chrome bumper bolts on my classic! Peter.
