Hi there to everyone I'm looking for a car to restore/repair and use as a second vehicle I was going to look at the red Marlin on ebay (barn find)Starting at £500 but I was dubious the ownership.The yellow car isn't to far away from me does the price seem about right.Any advices would be helpful.As a nice red car finished at just over 2 k on ebay yesterday.Thanks Dave

Hi Dave, If you are an avid looker as I am on Ebay they tend to go for around £2200 to around £2800 for a decent one. Don't be put off if you fancy a scruffy one to restore, they are easy to restore and very rarely are they rusty. Just make sure all the bits are there and as always look before you buy. One last thing don't buy the first one you see, they come up regularly on Ebay etc.

Dave this one might take your fancy, not much time to go and see it though. Item number 270388532576 its a MK1 which makes it a good find. Contact the guy, you can tell a lot from the owner. Adrian PS Good Luck

The yellow car......Shame about the bonnet and the club cant provide a winscreen and you need to check the log book(V5c) to ensure it says Marlin or something similar. Even then I think its top price for a non runner.
