Re: Austin from Durham - Metro Manifold
Hi Adrian.
There is details in the Marina Haynes manual under supplement page 199.
The pipe that comes up at a angle on the left side near the top cover is the crankcase fume conection. On the same side a tube above the adjusting screw is for the fuel inlet. The little tube under the carb is for the ignition vacuum connection. The outlet in the middle of the carb next to the fuel inlet is for float chamber vent as is the tube above this just below the dashpot fixing face.
Hope this helps.

Re: Austin from Durham - Metro Manifold
Hi Adrian,
Sorry for the delay in replying but I have been up in Scotland and have just read your post.
I tried the telephone number you posted but got a recorded message that the number was not recognized.
The message Bob Jackson posted describes the layout well.
I have some photo's but need to reduce the size in order to attach them.
Is the phone number correct?
My number if you want to call is 0191 3710473.
Regards Austin

Re: Austin from Durham - Metro Manifold
Austin thanks for this. A couple of questions, 1)First picture the pipe going to the right, where does it go. 2)what type of bhp do you get from this set up? Again Many thanks - Adrian

Re: Austin from Durham - Metro Manifold
Hi Adrian,
Picture to follow to ID pipes and connections.
Not sure about bhp. This setup replaced a very troublesome 1.8 installation and runs really well.
The exhaust is a temporary installation which I made up myself with the help of a welder who was doing an installation for me at work.
