Hi All, I may be thinking of changing the wheels on my Cabrio to 17" but need the folloing advice ?
What is the correct offset ?
Will std Ford Sierra, escort, fiesta, ka wheels fit ?
What is the correct width ?

I think the offset is 35mm. I have a space saver Ka wheel and it goes on OK.
However some wheels have the centre hole too small to go on the hubs.
I have a 6th wheel that has a centre hole 1.5mm too small in diameter to go on the hubs.
I think this was made for a FWD as my wheel man was specific about the wheels when we originally got them, that they were for a RWD vehicle.
I think most of the problems with clearance is at the back.
My wheels are 7J and depending on how sticky your tyres are give good grip in the dry. In the wet you have to be a bit more careful.
