    wind buffing

    hi does anyone have an answer to cut down on side winds when driving a roadster, having recently driven a tr6 was vert surprised to find that they poduce very little side wind untill 60/65 mph. any ideas????

    Ideas with drawings can be found in Tech tips.

    There are two approaches, wind deflectors hinged from the screen frame, or a complete side screen sometimes a modified wet weather screen using the door for additional support.

    If it all gets too much, goggles and a flying helmet!

      A couple of pics of mine John. It zips into the hood and hinges on the front screen suround. I have some more pics and a writeup if you want to drop me an e-mail.

          Hi John. See picture, the screens on my roadster are fixed to the doors and separate from the wind deflectors. More pix/details available if you want...screens are currently off the car so could take pix if you wish
