Fitting a Rover V8 3.9 to a roadster

I recently obtained a V8 3.9 which I am hopefully going to transplant into my short wheelbase Marlin Roadster. If anyone has achieved this or know of someone that has, could you please help. I am anxious for views, photos, information or anything elsr that can help me.
