  • Shortened Triumph front springs

Does anyone have a set that they'd part with? Cut or uncut, of course.

The kit manual calls for 1.5 coils to be cut off and the remaining spring to be ground flat.

However, mine are full-length and the front of the car runs really high.

I think sorting this out will be my next Marlin Project...

    Thanks,
    Ty

    Re: Shortened Triumph front springs

Installed a set of cut springs and they are PERFECT!

I installed a very good condition set of springs from a Spitfire 4 (MK1) with 2.5 full turns cut off and the pigtail ground flat to 2/3 of its original diameter.

Ben - cheers for the tips and the spring compressor help!
