  • roadster bumpers help!!!!!!

    hi all,does anyone know if i can do anything or get any bumpers to cover those awfull built in roundbars at the front and back any information,ideas,will be much appreciated, by the way its a early nineties roadster regards john.

    How about early Beetle quarter bumpers They ised to be flat so should fit. There must be others but to find some in good condition will be rare.
    You could get custom ones made up in Stainless Steel.
    Beware the dreaded SVA, IVA regs as they frown upon sharp radius bends.

      Hi John, I fitted stainless outer covers over the round bars then machined end caps out of solid. the result is very shiny s/steel bumpers. I have often toyed with the idea of making some Berlinetta type bumpers as I mads some for a Berli once but as of yet not got round to it for a Roadster. I have also seen chrome mk2 escort bumpers cut down and fitted which looked good. I will try and put some pictures of my car on later

        Rear bumper Citroën Dyane is a flat bumper.
