  • Dual/tandem circuit brakes

Having fitted different brakes I was wondering if I should convert to dual circuit brakes.

Its not a big job but I was wondering if the standard Marina master cylinder could be fitted to the pedal box or does the steering shaft need some modification to clear the larger reservoir.

Are there any other considerations I should make?

    Re: Dual/tandem circuit brakes

    Hi Steve,
I fitted a late Marina (1980 reg) Servo and dual circuit master cylinder to my pedal box and yes it will foul on the steering shaft.
I overcame this by simply moving the upper steering column support box across by about 25mm at the front and 20mm at the back.
This puts the support box slightly on an angle but allows the shaft to clear the reservoir. (See Pics)
    Hope this helps.

    Regards Austin.
