Plastic fuel tanks

Re plastic fuel tanks almost all new cars from back as far as 1990 or before. Were fitted with pastic fuel tank and are NOT protected from the road. I drive a Peugeot van (2001) and a Fiat Panda (2006) and both have plastic fuel tanks that are open to the road. So maybe this is the way to go.

For IVA you will have to be able to demonstrate that it is unmodified and originally used in a production vehicle.
