      Re: Stoneleigh

From lunchtime onwards on 1st May we shall be arriving. Evening spent sitting round outside if nice or if not into large tent with plenty of wine, beer etc. Bring a chair and warm sleeping bag, tent etc. It was freezing cold last year. See you then

        Hello Hermann,
If you are coming over on the Rotterdam or Zebrugge to Hull ferry you would be welcome to a good breakfast at my house before going down to Stoneleigh. I live about 15 miles from Hull on the main road. The ferry docks at about 7am so that would be good timing. Let me know which route you are using. If Calais /Dover then of course it is far away from me.

It will be very cold. Bring extra clothes and winter sleeping bag.

Hello Sue, Liz; Don and Peter
Thanks for the hints, I become now tarpaulins. For the ferry I must catch up still prices. Give then to answer which way. Greeting

              Hello Hermann,
Reading the replies it sounds like an Arctic event! You can expect night time temperatures between 7 and 10C. Daytime can be between 10 and 16C sometimes even better. I personally find a three season sleeping bag is fine, but for sure summer kit is not enough.
              Hear from you later.

              Regards

              Pete C
