1.8 Gearbox

Hi Gang,
I'm stuck for a Marina 1.8 gearbox, or good spares. Mine is unwell. Does anyone have anything I could use?

Hi Mike
I hve an MGB box but it has an overdrive as well, so is quite long. I don't know that it will fit your Marina engine.

Mgb box is very different with integral bell housing.
The clutch flywheel and engine back plate are different so it wont bolt on easily.

I have Marina 1.8 box with Laycock Spitfire 1500 overdrive attached (25% ovrdriven), probably shooting myself in the foot by offering it. Not quite bolt in, your propshaft would need shortening to fit and you may have to change the gearbox mount.
