Exhaust specialists

I am considering replacing the exhaust on my Roadster. The current one was created when the exhaust fell off the works van some years ago. I am considering a stainless system. I have been given a quote for a Powerflow system (created at a local exhaust centre and by Custom Chrome in Nuneaton. Does anyone have expreience of these products / companies?

Is anyone aware of other similar companies in the Midlands?

Custom Chrome made the systems for both my Sportster and Berlinetta. I found them most knowledgable,helpful and competative.They actually made up the Berlinetta system while I waited ! I would use them again.

Hi Nick.
When I added two extra boxes to my Hunter I went to Powerflow in Exeter. They did an excellent job and even gave me some rubber mounts so I could make up the hangers in advance, exactly where I wanted them. They even asked "what do you want it to sound like" as they know what length box absorbs which frequency! Peter.

I have used Powerflow exhausts in Carlisle once on a Roadster and last year on a Cabrio and they did a great job on both cars for approx £150-£200 each if I remember. They made them for me while I waited and watched and advised what system and sound I was wanting. Also made from Stainless steel and have a life times warranty.

Hi Nick. You could try J.P. Exhausts in Macclesfield. They have been going for about 30 years to my knowledge.I have'nt bought anything recently from them but in the past had a twin pipe system & stainless fuel tank for a Reliant Scimitar (V8) and did'nt charge me for putting a couple of bends in the Sportsters tail pipes.regards
