Cortina gear lever

has anyone out there got a gear lever for a 4 speed Cortina box please? mine has stripped the threads on the plastic ball joint and it keeps popping out at the most inconvenient moments i.e. when I am driving it!

There is one for a Mk2 cortina on e bay item number 280537453836, perhaps the same as yours?

Thanks Alan! I had been searching for a mk3 one on ebay and this obviously did not come up, but it does look right and the ball cap looks to be the correct colour!

Chris, how do you like the 'throw' of the original stick? I chopped at good few inches off mine (a similar 4-speed box) and stuck a nice after-market knob on top. It felt much 'snickier' and far more pleasant to use.

I have just had a replacement chopped, all I have got to do now is find out why it wont engage fourth gear!
